On January 23rd, 2009 at 14.00 a set off farewell meeting to our team for the start of the high mountain expedition "Lazar's Teas - Daniela Jovanovic " was organised. Besides the representatives of the general sponsor "Lazar's Teas" the farewell meeting was attended also by the representatives of marketing agency Creative Media Art, Musel Bus Advertising, Blic, and many others.
Daniela Jovanovic is the first invalid woman in the world to perform the climb up to the highest peak of Europe , Elbrus, and this is her second expedition. The climbig up of Aconqagua , 6946 msl high peak of the Andes, willl take at least 21 days , and for this effort Daniela Jovanovic had prepared almost for two years including the climb up to Elbrus. The peak in South America is 1.300 m higher than the Europian one.
- I know that I will succeed! Physically I prepared myself well and enough, so I hope there won't be problems. I devote this expedition to all the invalid persons both in Serbia and the world,- said Danijela at the yesterday's farewell meeting in front of Saint Sava Temple .
Daniela Jovanovic starts the expedition accompanied by her trainer Slobodan Stokic, and a team of ten persons including doctors.
- The trainings needed much effort, and the preparation took place in winter time. I am glad that so many people attended the farewell at the Temple to say good-bye to us and also people who believe in Daniela's success said for "Blic" Slobodan Stokic , her trainer and president of Extreme Sport Club "Pozitiv".
