Tuesday, July29th, 2008- an addition: Danijela has endured aclimatisation exellently. She only complains of slight headache and that was not before they reached Terskol. There is no reason for worrying as headache is a common symptom of adaptation to height.

On Tuesday 29th,2008 Danijela Jovanovic and Slobodan Stokic set off for the first aclimatization rise. At this rise Danijela broke her own record by climbing to the height of 3400msl.

After a short rest at the last station of ski lift the team headed to the top of mountain Ceget on foot. The distance to the top was 600 meters and the rise lasted about 2 hours.
At this aclimatisation rise they met many mountaineers from Germany and the Netherlands that they had arrived with by plane the day before and who also came for the same purpose. This poin is the one where Danijela broke her own climbing record and reached the height of 3400m. Her previous record was the top Musala in Bulgaria of 2925m of height.

Because of the strong wind the promoting flags of our sponsors could not be flown properly and we appologise for that to them. The following day another aclimatisayin rise at Elbrus Observatory is in front of them i.e. to the top Terskol at the height of 3800m. This time a whole day walk is expects them. By the way the weather today was very cloudy and partly rainy. The top of Elbrus was covered with clouds so it could not be seen and photos could not be taken. They hope the weather will get better until the rise start. We wish them good luck and God help them.
