On Wednesday July3oth,2008 at 19.00 the tean reported that the second aclimatisation was successfully done.
"After sending the information this morning ,as I said, the weather got clear . We went to our room packed our things hastefully and set off to the second aclimatisation rise" says Stokic.
The team had the task to climb up to Elbrus observatory and if Danijela could endure to get to the top Terskol at 3620msl . The rise itself lasted a little more than 5 hours and Danijela again broke her own record and this time she had the rise on foot from Terskol at 2100 to 3800msl. This rise was a good simmulaton of the final rise to Elbrus as it is similar to it by the lasting and slope but not by temperature.
After reaching the top they took photos of themselves and the promoting matirial of donors and went back to Terskol quickly.
For tomorrow ,according to the plan of Slobodan Stokic, the rerise to top Cheget expects them with the aim to spend the night in the tents a little under the top so that Danijela can prepare and aclimatise for the start of the expedition to Elbrus.There is an alternative , if Danijela feels tired , the plan is to stay in Terskol for a physical rest and preparation for the beggining of the expedition.
If they go to Cheget tomorrow they will not be able to send us photos but only text reports by MT:S Mobile Telephony of Serbia which is a donor of the expedition and without whom we would not be able to communicate with them.
We are waiting till tomorrow , plan A or plan B.
