Saturday , August 2nd,2008 at 17pm local time the team reported that they had done the aclimatisation to the shelter 11 at 4200msl and returned to Terskol. 

Slobodan reporeted that according to the plan they got up at 7.00 am and at 8.00 they were already on the way to Azau from where gondola starts to the station Mir at 3500msl.

The weather was terrible today too but it was not an obstacle for the aclimatisation to be continued. In Terskol it did not rain but a few hundreds meters up , in Azau it rained. They waited the start of gomdola went headed to the station Mir, sat on the ski lift and climbed to the camp Garabishi at 3700msl.  There the sun shone and at last THEY SAW ELBRUS, although the clouds covered the top soon.

After short preparation (putting some sun cream etc.) they headed to the aclimatisation rise to the camp and shelter Pruit 11. The rise itself lasted relatively long for such a short distance. The cause was melted snow that made Danijela walk very difficultly because of her lack of feet so they slide easily dow such ground.

Yet she continued to inspite all the difficulties that she met and in a few hours they reached the shelter Pruit 11.

At the height of 4200msl they spent more than an hour and headed hastily to the station Mir not to miss the last departure of the gondola to Azau.      
 
In order to aclimatise their bodies better , they are going to stay in Terskol tomorrow and on Monday or Tuesday they will continue to the camp Garabashi where they are going to sleep the two or three nights . Until now Danijela endured the aclimatisation well thouth she complained of slight headache but everything is OK.  
 
The greatest problem by Slobodan's words is the extraordinary bad  weather but he hopes it will settle to the end. Another great problem is that they cannot believe to any weather forecast as they are pretty unprecise.
