Monday , August4th , 9.15 am by local time . Sun at last on the Caucaz. By our team's report this the first morning that the sky was clear and that there was not even a drop of rain during the night and morning. The bad weather , by Slobodan's words, was used for aclimatisation and now they are ready for the climb to Elbrus.

They have had 3 aclimatisations at the height of 3500msl. one staying over night at 3200msl so far and they always returned to Terskol to strenghten their bodies and adapt them to the multiple nights stay at the height of 3700msl in Garabashi camp.

They also had one aclimatisation at at 4200msl that was done on Saturday in the camp of Pruit 11. from which they aalso returned back to Terskol to stay over night and have a pause the rise preparation.

The rise to Elbrus itself  will be alike connected to aclimatisation. Our team will have at least 1 or 2 aclimatisations to the height of 4400msl a little above Pruit 11 and come back to Garabashi so that Danijela can as well as possible aclimatise for the staying over night at Pruit 11.

From Pruit 11 on 1 or 2 aclimatisations were also planned  above the Pashtuchova rock and very likely to the Elbrus saddle itself  i.e. to the height of 5000msl. All these plans depend on how Danijela can endure physically these aclimatisations.

The rise may probably last shorter depending on the aclimatisation of our team.

During the stay on Elbrus the team will not be able to send photos but only short reports by MT:S  -  Mobile Telephony of Serbia.
